Our rose water is produced in Kastoria by the method of distillation of rose petals which are carefully collected by hand. It is, in fact, double distilled rose water, which means it is highly concentrated. It has a sweet natural scent that comes from the essential oils of the rosebuds. The roses are picked with special care at dawn before their petals open, and transported directly to the distillery to maintain their morning freshness and all their beneficial properties. This is a rose water that is produced from beginning to end, with love, in Kastoria. Rose water is suitable for all skin types. It contains vitamin C and is a powerful antioxidant. Its antioxidant action helps eliminate free radicals that are responsible for the destruction of cells that leads to premature aging of the skin. Rose water is anti-wrinkle, anti-aging and skin tonic and offers a feeling of firmness and rejuvenation. It is also anti-inflammatory and antibacterial so it soothes skin irritations such as abrasions, cuts, eczema and sunburn. You can use it both on face and body. In addition, its sweet aromas have a calming effect in times of stress and anxiety.
How to use rosewater:
After cleansing your face with soap or facial cleanser, use rosewater as a toner (with cotton or reusable cotton pad) to remove any residue. Continue your cleansing routine by applying your face cream or sunscreen. Ideally, you can moisturize your skin with Rosehip oil (Dogrose), rich in vitamin C, linoleic and alpha-linoleic acid.
