Echinacea purpurea

Country of Origin: Poland

Echinacea is mainly used for its effect on the immune system. The chemical components contained in it directly affect the chemical processes of the immune system. Daily use of echinacea reduces the chances of colds and flu and is therefore consumed mainly during the winter months. It fights and eliminates the disturbing symptoms of cold, cough and flu.

Echinacea is particularly beneficial for respiratory diseases as it reduces irritation and prevents the deposition of mucus in the respiratory tract. It also helps in cases of bronchitis, asthma, tuberculosis and nerve cough.

Echinacea can fight infections such as genital herpes, malaria, syphilis. It contributes to the fight against urinary tract infections and vaginal yeast infections. Frequent consumption of echinacea can cure ear infections.

Echinacea increases the production of white blood cells that are responsible for the protection of the organism after a pathogenic microorganism invasion, thus preventing viruses and bacteria from penetrating into healthy cells.

The antibacterial action of echinacea is particularly beneficial against gingivitis, which is a bacterial infection. It contributes to oral hygiene.

The anti-inflammatory effect of echinacea helps reduce the pains of the muscles and joints that arise from arthritis or from an injury. It can even be applied externally to the affected area.

Echinacea is also applied to sunburns, wounds and dermatoses such as psoriasis and eczema. It accelerates the healing of the affected area and keeps the wound clean, preventing the entry of pathogenic microorganisms. Thanks to its antibacterial and antiviral properties, it works to protect the wound while at the same time contributes to the formation of new epidermal cells.

The diuretic action of echinacea contributes to the detoxification of the body as the toxin is excreted through urination. It also has a cleansing action and helps with the healing of the gastrointestinal tract. Its diuretic action also fights hypertension while its antioxidant properties regulate blood sugar levels and prevent dangerous hypoglycaemic episodes.

Echinacea also contributes to the health of the scalp and is used to treat alopecia. This herb reduces hair loss and strengthens hair follicles. It also fights dandruff and makes hair shiny.

It is forbidden to use echinacea in combination with other painkillers.

CAUTION! Echinacea should be avoided during pregnancy
