Devil's claw or grapple plant has been used since ancient times for its analgesic properties. Its anti-inflammatory properties significantly relieve joint pain. It is particularly beneficial in cases of osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis. It also soothes the back and spine pains.
Devil' s claw is used to stimulate appetite in cases of anorexia or post-operative stage where the patient refuses to eat. It also relieves constipation, colitis and diarrhea.
Devil' s claw can be applied on wounds and ulcers, bruises and cuts, and more commonly in dermatoses such as eczema and psoriasis.
